「ファシズムの14の初期警報」 （Early Warning signs of Facism）

 

これはアメリカ人のワシントンにある「ホロコースト記念館」 に展示されているローレンス・ブリット（政治学者）Lawrence Britt による言葉です。安倍政権の本質を見事に表していると話題になっています。 色々な訳語が流れていますが、私なりに分かりやすい訳語を以下のように考えてみました。

 

1．強大で執拗な国家主義の宣伝（Powerful and continuing expressions of nationalism ） 2．人権の重要性の蔑視（Disdain for the importance of human rights） 3．団結のための敵／スケープゴートづくり（Identification of enemies/scapegoats as a unifying cause） 4．軍隊の優位性／熱烈な軍国主義（The supremacy of the military/avid militarism） 5．性差別の蔓延（Rampant sexism） 6．マスメディアの統制（A controlled mass media） 7．国家の治安への執着（obsession with national security） 8．宗教と支配層エリートの癒着（Religion and ruling elite tied together） 9．企業権力の保護（Power of corporations protected） 10．労働者の力の抑圧もしくは排除（Power of labor suppressed or aliminated） 11．知性と芸術の軽視と抑圧（Diadain and suppression of intellectuals and the arts） 12．犯罪取り締まりと刑罰への執着（Obession with crime and punishment） 13．縁故主義と汚職の蔓延（Rampant cronyism and corruption） 14．不正選挙（Fraudulent elections）
